Career Discovery and Exploration
The National Career Planning Initiative from MyCollegeOptions.org is a free, easy to administer program that captures the interests, abilities and current plans of high school students to provide guidance as they explore and discover their “best fit” careers.
As an educator, your priority is the success of your students. The National Career Planning Initiative will help you assist them during this critical decision-making process. Developed specifically for 8th-10th grade students as they formulate their high school course plans and work toward a path to their post-secondary education and career preparations, the program provides a personalized report for each student outlining directional guidance. This report will help students focus their career and education explorations and enable them to make informed short term decisions like the best plans for their course enrollments.
Take advantage of this simple, free resource with limited class time required. To request your National Career Planning Initiative packet, contact Peggy Jansen, My College Options Liaison at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 877-409-6366.
